A private catamaran from the Hispaniola fleet anchored in turquoise water off Punta Cana

The fleet

Twelve boats, all of them ours.

Every boat you can charter here belongs to Hispaniola. We designed them, our own technical team maintains them, and we answer for them. That is the part most organizers only think about once something has gone wrong.

Why it matters

The boat you book is the boat that shows up.

The fleet is owned, maintained and improved in house. The boat you saw when you booked is the one waiting at the dock on the morning of your tour — and when something needs attention, the people who built it are the ones who take care of it.

  • Twelve boats, every one of them ours
  • Maintained by our own technical team
  • A floating kitchen of our own since 2015

Sailing since 2010, one boat at a time.

Bigger group, or something different in mind?

Just ask us.

Tell us what you have in mind and we will find the way to make it happen.

On board

Two things this fleet built for itself.

Everything else — sound system, snorkelling gear, WiFi, the open bar — comes with every charter. These two are the ones people describe first when they talk about the day afterwards.

The floating kitchen platform where the food is grilled during the charter

The floating kitchen

A kitchen of our own, sailing with the fleet since 2015. Seven grilled dishes to choose from — premium meats, fresh seafood and local specialties — cooked in front of you while your group is still in the water, and served hot a few steps from where it was made.

Grilled to order, plated to order, eaten hot.

The floating bar serving guests standing in shallow water

The floating bar

The bar comes out to the water. Your group stands in water they can stand up in, glass in hand, and the next round arrives where they are standing.

It is the part of the day that ends up in everybody’s photos.

Since 2010

From one boat to a fleet of twelve.

Each new boat was paid for by the one before it. That is a slower way to grow, and the reason none of them was a compromise.

  1. 2010The Teresa arrives — the first boat, and the start of Hispaniola Aquatic Adventures.
  2. 2013The Santa María joins, and proves that a good season can become the next investment.
  3. 2015The Forever Teresa arrives, then a second sailing catamaran and the first floating kitchen.
  4. 2016The Maite is built: more capacity, and room for new kinds of day out.
  5. 2017The Teresa 2 joins, the Karaya begins construction, and the original Teresa becomes the boarding platform.
  6. 2020Even through the pandemic the fleet keeps growing, with the Joker.
  7. 2021After nearly five years in the building, the Karaya is delivered and becomes the flagship.
  8. 2024Grandpa and Follow Your Dreams join, and open the next chapter.

Before you choose

What people ask before choosing a boat.

Will I know which boat we get before I pay?

Yes. We confirm the boat with your date, because the right one depends on how many of you there are and what you are celebrating.

How many guests fit on one boat?

Up to 120 people per boat. For larger groups we run several boats in convoy.

Is the boat shared with another group?

No. One group per departure on a private charter: the deck is yours from the moment you board until you step off.

Are the boats yours or chartered in?

Ours. Twelve boats, maintained by our own technical team and improved continuously.

Which boat has the slide?

The GrandMa has a slide on board, and the Joker has one as well, along with two decks and a roof that slides open.
